I had my 5 month ultrasound last week and this little baby seems healthy and just cookin' away! We got to see the baby yawn and even saw the tongue - so fun! My favorite picture was of the cute little tiny feet paired right up next to each other. We looked away so we wouldn't see what the sex was though I was REALLY tempted too! Everything seems good. I still feel pretty limited energy wise and the Dr. said my iron was low. I tried to up my intake like he said but I found myself getting really sick! ugh! So it's been and up and down week as I try to figure out when the best time to take the extra vitamins are before I bag them all together! ha! Hit the neighborhood pool with the kids this week - eek! But hubby snapped a shot of me as he said I was actually looking pregnant in my suit. I'm being brave and sharing it with all of you. (be kind please [wink])
I've also been trying to get cookin' on a few projects this past week as well. Details to be shared soon! But I'm very excited to get them under and shared with you!!!
And speaking of Cookin' in the HOT weather - don't forget about my Hot/Cold "therapy" bags Tutorial aka wheat sacks. These can be made with rice or wheat, whatever you have on hand or whatever is easiest to get. Make up a couple of small ones and throw them in the freezer! They are a great way to cool off in the summer heat! We love ours!

Love you Megan, you are the cutest preggo ever! WOW! So exciting to see that tiny little bump. I can't wait to meet your little one someday.
Thanks for sharing!
um, are you actually pregnant? You don't look it - at 5 months you look like it's your first pregnancy with your tiny tummy :)
I had the energy slumps bad when I was pregnant - I sympathize with you.
super cute suit, megan! and you look as great as ever. :)
i've been borderline anemic for almost 8 yrs now...just can't stomach those iron pills, either. ugh.
You look fantastic! That's a really cute suit!
I love your tutorial...I used it at Christmas time to treat some out of town guests!

Be nice? How can we not when you look as great as that. I have five kiddos myself, and wish I looked like that now...:)Congrats, they sure are a blessing, aren't they? I just stumbled onto your blog, as a brand new blogger and have been mesmerized.
I ran to Walmart and picked up Modge Podge, sandpaper, primer and lots of stuff. I am ready to go (and to think I was giving that desk to Goodwill:)
THANKS!!
Hello! I found your blog through The Crafty Cow. I think we are about the same amount along in our pregnancies. I'm due Nov. 21st. :)
I have found with the iron, if I take TwinLab's 18mg chelated Iron Tabs with a packet of Emergen-C sometime in the morning, either before breakfast or between breakfast and mid morning snack, then it sits the best on my stomach. The vit C in the Emergen-C helps your body to better absorb the iron, too. Just a little trick I picked up from my midwife. I hope that helps some. I know how trying it can be to get all your vitamins in. Yuck! I never feel guilty if I have to skip a day or two. Sometimes I just need a break from swallowing pills. :)
I love your blog by the way. I'm so glad I found it!
i just stumbled onto your blog and found this post. i have to say you look great! congrats on the new baby. while pregnant with my 1st & 4th i was anemic and my midwife recommended floradix. it is a liquid iron supplement that is super easy on your stomach and doesn't taste bad. i bought mine at the vitamin shoppe. just thought i would share that little bit of info with you. :)
